Josh began fishing the Rockies as a child, but never imagined that he would spend so much time fishing as an adult. Working as a guide since 2007, Josh specializes in teaching all levels of anglers, everyone can pick up plenty of knowledge from his broad knowledge. Having spent winters as a ski instructor, he is one of the best guides for children. Josh especially enjoys working with beginners, and emphasizes that fly-fishing should be fun. Having grown up in the Rocky Mountains, fishing for trout has been second-nature to Jim since he was five. Jim grew up in Parker, Colorado and has explored the rivers of the Rockies ... morethroughout his life. Whenever possible, he joins month long camping trips in the Snowy Range in southern Wyoming and ensures that fishing is at the top of his priority list. In addition to guiding in Jackson Hole, Jim has spent many seasons fishing and guiding the clear blue waters and flats of the Florida Keys and the Gulf of Mexico. When he’s not fishing, Jim resides in Alabama, where he and his wife are raising their family; however, his love for fly-fishing in the Tetons, brings him back to Jackson each summer. He has been guiding the Snake, the Green, the South Fork, Yellowstone and many other regional waters for over 10 years. Jim was the high scoring guide of the 2006 Jackson Hole One Fly Competition and is also a recipient of the Carmichael-Cohen Memorial Guide Award. Jim’s expertise, patience, and out-going personality make each trip for his clients a memorable adventure.

Being the son of an adamant fly fisherman, Travis began fishing as soon as he could hold a rod. He took to fly fishing quickly, as if it was second nature, and developed a true love ... morefor the sport. At the age of 16, Travis started shuttling for outfitters in the Jackson area. During this time he was able to meet some of the legends of fly fishing and absorb the knowledge they shared with the young aspiring angler. This helped him develop a vast knowledge base of the best fishing in the region. His guiding career began when he was 20 and regularly guides in Jackson Hole, Star Valley, and the Pinedale area; as well as the South Fork of the Snake River in Idaho. Travis spends his summers fishing and winters skiing with his beautiful daughter and son. In the fall and spring he can be found on the Salmon River in Idaho chasing Steelhead. He is excited and willing to share his knowledge just as others did when he was learning. With a background in education, Scott is able to break down the steps of fly fishing in order to help beginners with the mechanics of casting and can suggest small adjustments for more experienced anglers to improve their results. Scott has an amazing wealth of knowledge, covering countless rivers and streams in the area and enjoys fishing anywhere he can: including the Snake, Salt, and Green rivers, and Yellowstone National Park. Bart, aka Bartman, is a 4th Generation Star Valley, Wyoming resident. He was born with a fly fishing rod in his hand and has embraced the art of fishing. Some of his earliest memories ... moreare of fly fishing with his father and grandfather. He has also explored many rivers and streams in eastern Idaho. Bart started guiding fishing trips in 1980 taking clients by horseback up to mountain streams and lakes in the Hoback and Pinedale area. Then in 1984 he started guiding fly fishing trips with local guides and fly shops down the beautiful rivers in Wyoming and Idaho. In 1987 he began guiding in Jackson Hole taking trips all around the region. When the world championship was held in Jackson on the Snake River in 1997, Bart was the guide for not only the first place contestant but the second and third as well! In 2001, he was the High Point Guide for the Jackson Hole One Fly Tournament, and in 2010 Bart was awarded the Carmichael-Cohen Memorial Guide Award during the Jackson Hole One Fly Tournament due to his dedication, and contribution to fly fishing. Bart is a true representation of the best qualities in guiding. Bart is married to his beautiful wife Julie and has five grown sons. They all enjoy fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor activities together. Hunter grew up in Richmond, Virginia. When he was 15, he picked up a fly rod and his life changed forever. Family trips to the Rockies inspired Hunter to attend the University of Colorado ... moreat Boulder. During college, Hunter spent his free time fishing extensively throughout Colorado and Wyoming, where he honed his understanding of western rivers. He moved to Jackson the day after graduation and began working for Snake River Angler shortly thereafter. Hunter appreciates any day on the water, whether it’s chasing big cutthroat around the Snake, or floating the Upper Green green looking for brown trout. He enjoys working with beginners and advanced anglers to improve their abilities. He is an expert fisherman in all techniques, but loves to seek out some of the biggest fish in the river with big streamers. Dustin has logged 300 miles a year in the Winds for the last 8 years and feels he knows where that next world record Golden is. When he is not hiking or guiding the rivers of Jackson Hole, he’s floating the Green River catching gargantuan browns beneath undercut banks. In the springtime he guides on the Green in the famous Flaming Gorge in Utah. When the season slows down a bit here in the US he likes fishing exotic locales including Belize and New Zealand.

This experience led Cody to spend most of his younger years guiding pack trips and backpacking trips throughout the surrounding wilderness and national parks. During this time Cody developed his fishing skills and his passion for teaching. He has been with Snake River Angler for four years and loves to chat with anyone and everyone who swings in to say hi. Adair is originally from Atlanta, GA and has been coming to Jackson Hole for many years. He has lived in the valley permanently for the past four. Adair knows the water in the area, ... moreand carries the equipment that will give people on his boat the best opportunity to catch fish. He is an expert in developing his own variations on many patterns, and ties most of his flies. At 3 years old, Adair started fishing for bass in GA, and honed his skills during trips to Wyoming and Montana. Several times throughout the year Adair guides international trips to remote places including the Bahamas and South America, where it’s easy to get captivated by the excitement of fly fishing.
